KSI has confirmed that he will finally make his long-awaited return to the boxing ring this summer.

The YouTuber, rapper and 1-0 boxer will return to the sport for the first time since beating Logan Paul in 2019.

KSI will be 29 when he returns to the ring, more than four years after his first white collar contest against Joe Weller.

His second fight later that year was a white-collar tie against Logan that went the distance of six rounds.

When they met again in their rematch, the two agreed to rise to the professional ranks.

KSI won that fight by split decision in America and has not boxed since.

KSI vs Alex Wassabi: Date and how to follow

The event will take place on Saturday 27th August at the 02 Arena in London.

KSI has made it clear that his long-term goal is to beat Jake Paul, but he must first get past Alex Wassabi, who beat his brother Deji in March.

On Thursday evening, the Spanish version of DAZN’s website revealed that KSI had signed a new broadcast partnership deal with them.

DAZN’s subscription costs £7.99 in the UK, but the streaming service is likely to add a pay-per-view leg to its model this year.

KSI vs Alex Wassabi: What was said?

KSI has offered Jake Paul a chance to save his fight with Tommy Fury by fighting in the co-main event on his UK card.

Fury was due to fly to America on Monday to attend the couple’s first press conference but was prevented from doing so just days after his brother Tyson was banned from entering the US.

KSI then tweeted to Paul: “Your card is clearly dead in the water at this point. So let me give you a lifeline.

“If you REALLY want to fight Tommy, fight on my map as a co-main event. I have prepared everything for you.

“Best think you owe me something. The ball is yours.”
