Warrior at Nuggets Prediction

The Warriors (26-25 SU, 25-25 ATS, 29-18 O/U) travel to the Mile High City for a Western Conference matchup against the Nuggets (35-16 SU, 25-23-3 ATS, 23- 27 O/U).

The over in this game is our model’s favorite game today. The total opened at 239.5 but is down to 232.5 and I think it’s fallen a bit too low now. Denver has exceeded that number in seven of their last 10 games and five of their last six home games. The Warriors have exceeded that number in eight of their last 10 away games, and the last time these two teams met, they finished with a final score of 251. The Nuggets have the second-best offensive rating at home this season, while the Warriors lead the league at a pace, both in season and specifically on the road. This will be a fast game with lots of points. But make sure Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins play before betting on them. If they’re out, I’d totally check out a Nuggets team.

PICK: Warriors nuggets OVER 232.5

Lakers at Pacer’s prediction

The Lakers (24-28 SU, 24-25-3 ATS, 29-22 O/U) continue their five-game road trip with a stop in the Midwest to take on the Pacers (24-28 SU, 27-24 – 2 ATS, 25-26 O/U).

Both teams are in the top five in the league in terms of pace, top 10 on offense and bottom on defense. This is a recipe for an over. When these two teams met earlier this season, the Pacers dominated the transition while the Lakers won the paint battle. Both are areas where the other team struggles to defend, which should also result in a more scoring game. Not to mention Indiana could get Tyrese Haliburton back tonight after missing a lot of time. As the team’s top scorer, that would be a welcome sight for the over. Also, let’s not forget that the Pacers beat the Lakers in the last second in LA, so I would imagine LeBron and co. wanting to show Indiana who’s boss tonight, and how they’re going to do that, is on offense End.

PICK: Lakers-Pacers OVER 240

Heat at Knicks prediction

The Heat (29-23 SU, 20-30-2 ATS, 22-29 O/U) will play their third straight game tonight if they head to a matchup with the Knicks (27-25 SU, 25-24- 3 ATS, 28-23 O/U).

The Heat are finally on form after a slow start to the season. They have won four of their last five games and are sixth in the Eastern Conference. The Knicks are struggling, but they’re still seventh, just two games behind Miami. Still, our model says we should support the home team tonight, and I agree. New York is fourth in second chance points in their last 10 games, which could be a big problem for a Miami team that has struggled to recover all season. The Knicks’ problem lately has been consistency on offense, but defensively they are one of the most solid teams in the league and have the staff to slow down Jimmy Butler.

SELECT: Knicks ML (+115)
