Responsibilities include assisting the offensive coordinator as well as other aspects of the football program. Wisconsin: Luke Fickell’s 7-year contract is reportedly totaling $58.1 million with a school-end buyout of 80 percent of the rest and a coach-end buyout of $8 million through March 31, 2027 USA Today’s Steve Berkowitz. The contract language states that it is a rolling 7-year contract.
State of Arizona: Kenny Dillingham has his offense coordinator and it’s an FCS head coach. details here.
State of Texas: Texas State has announced GJ Kinne as its next head coach. Kinne will remain with Incarnate Word during the Cardinals’ playoff run; UIW host Furman in a second-round game tomorrow.
Georgia Tech: Sources say FootballScoop’s director of football operations Scott Wallace is stepping down and is expected to join CSE in Atlanta. Wallace spent five seasons at Temple before joining Georgia Tech with Geoff Collins.
East-Central (CC – MS): East Central Community College, Decatur, MS is recruiting for a position as Volunteer Assistant Wide Receiver Coach/Part-Time Student Service Assistant. The candidate will be responsible for on-site coaching of their own position and other on-campus duties as assigned by the Dean of Student Services. Stetson (FCS-FL): Stetson University is accepting applications for a defensive backs coach. This is a full-time position with benefits. The job description is as follows: The Assistant Coach reports to the Head Football Coach and is responsible for all administrative and organizational aspects of his position. Preference will be given to those applicants who have experience coaching defensive backs and special teams. They will directly supervise all student-athletes playing their assigned position. They must operate within the guidelines of an NCAA Division I non-academic football program and within the university’s mission and philosophy of intercollegiate athletics. You will guide and actively encourage student athletes to excel academically, earn degrees and represent the university with the highest integrity. The coach helps develop and manage the defensive game plans and the materials needed to execute them. The coach is also responsible for recruiting student-athletes, ensuring compliance with NCAA, conference and university regulations pertaining to recruitment, eligibility standards and eligibility, overseeing student-athletes’ academic progress, and assisting in establishing effective media relationships.
