No. 2 Tennessee (15-4, SEC 0-1) lost its Southeastern Conference opener Friday to Missouri (14-3, SEC 1-0), 9-1.
Friday’s competition was the first in a series of three games.
The No. 2 game between Tennessee and Missouri, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed due to strong winds and low temperatures. The Vols and Tigers play a double header on Sunday. The doubleheader consists of two seven-inning games and can be followed on SEC Network+.
Game 1 of Sunday’s doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. EDT, while Game #2 begins approximately 30 to 45 minutes after the end of the first game.
