Offensive Security Announces OffSec Live: PEN-200 – Interactive, Instructor-Led, Streaming Prep for the OSCP

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Offensive Security, the leading provider of hands-on cybersecurity training and certification, announced today OffSec Live: PEN-200an open streaming series designed to facilitate cybersecurity learning and enhance preparation for the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) exam.

From June 22ndnd, OffSec Live: PEN-200 offers free streaming access to OffSec’s industry-leading Kali Linux Penetration Testing (PEN-200/PWK) training course in an instructor-led series. Over the course of 25 weeks, these guided streams offer currently enrolled PEN-200/PWK students more opportunities to prepare for the OSCP exam, as well as prospective students to explore areas of cybersecurity that may be new to them. All at no extra cost.

OffSec Live: PEN-200 provides expanded access to OffSec’s cybersecurity training material, giving OffSec students another opportunity to prepare for upcoming exams and earn their certifications, and other interested professionals to explore and experiment. The program includes material from PEN-200, OffSec’s foundational penetration testing course, designed to provide students with not only the skills but also the mindset required to be a successful penetration tester. Students who complete the course and pass the exam are awarded the coveted OSCP certification.

OffSec will be hosting live streams on Twitch every Wednesday and Friday from 12pm to 1pm ET for 25 weeks starting June 22ndnd until 30.11th. The streaming sessions consist of semi-weekly, interactive presentations. On-demand recordings of the live streams will be available to currently enrolled PEN-200 students. Weekly office hours will also be available via Twitch.

That OffSec Live: PEN-200 The program includes a weekly learning plan with learning objectives, time management recommendations, key course modules, and recommended lab exercises. The semi-weekly streaming sessions provide a forum for course-specific learning, instruction, and lab demos. OffSec will also host and moderate a dedicated one OffSec Live: PEN-200 Discord channel for students to collaborate and discuss PEN-200 methodology.
