Cameron Norrie versus Jason Kubler head to head
They have never faced each other in a competitive ATP match before, but in 2013 they played each other on the Futures circuit. This match on clay was won by Kubler.

Norrie passes Guinard
Not quite at his best on clay, Norrie nonetheless had no qualms about overtaking Manuel Guinard on the first lap of the competition.
In just two hours and 19 minutes, Norrie scored a 7-5, 6-2, 6-0 win over the 146th player to reach the second round at Roland-Garros for the second consecutive year. He will now be looking to repeat his performance here last year when he reached the round of 32 before being eliminated.
Norrie was headed for a flyer with an early break but dropped serve in game eight for Guinard to level the situation 4-4. He hit back with another break in the 11th before ending a hard fought first set.
The next two sets were a breeze for Norrie, who overcame an early break of serve in the second to go 1-1 in 11 of 12 games there.
Having won the Lyon Open title, Norrie comes to this tournament and is now on a five-game winning streak. Can he do six out of six?
Kubler has improved a lot this year
Kubler’s first-round win over Denis Kudla was a sign of how strong he has been developing this season.
After starting the year at No. 220 in the world, Kubler featured on the futures circuit, then worked his way through the Challengers before finally winning his first major draw at the top level this year.
In fact, that 7-6(5), 7-6(2), 7-6(3) win was Kubler’s first since his only win the previous season, which came in January of last year.
Kubler was on the court for three hours and 18 minutes, and despite hitting 10 aces compared to his opponent, he was still broken three times in the match.
Can he continue to show similar form in this second round match against a player who has won five straight games?
Norrie v Kubler prediction and tip
Norrie will be a favorite to grab a sixth straight win but we think Kubler will have the tenacity to snatch a set from the Brit.
