NBC SPORTS TO PRESENT MORE THAN 150 HOURS OF LIVE BROADCASTING OF THE USGA CHAMPIONSHIPS ACROSS NBC, USA NETWORK, GOLF CHANNEL AND PEACOCK IN 2022
NBC Sports presents coverage of nine USGA events this season, including the US Women’s Open, US Open, US Women’s Amateur and US Amateur
Over 25 hours of coverage of the US Women’s Open from Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club June 2-5
GOLF Channel surrounds “golf’s longest day” on Monday, June 6 with 10 hours of coverage of US Open finals qualifiers across nine locations
STAMFORD, Conn. – May 24, 2022 – NBC Sports will present more than 150 hours of live USGA championship coverage in 2022 beginning Thursday, June 2 with the US Women’s Open Presented by ProMedica from Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, NC
In total, NBC Sports will provide live coverage of nine USGA events this season through NBC, USA Network, GOLF Channel and Peacock, including the US Open June 16-19 at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass.
NBC Sports will complement the USGA championship game with pre- and post-event coverage, special features, original programming and more, including:
- GOLF Channel is critically acclaimed GOLF Central Live from studio coverage at the US Women’s Open and US Open;
- Comprehensive live coverage of “Golf’s Longest Day” on June 6 on GOLF Channel as players compete at nine US Open Final Qualification Sites across the country;
- The three-part documentary From Many, One: INSIDE THE 2022 US OPENdebuted on June 7th on GOLF Channel.
US WOMEN’S OPEN PRESENTED BY PROMEDICA
NBC Sports will present more than 25 hours of live coverage from the 2022 US Women’s Open on NBC, USA Network and Peacock. Thursday through Friday coverage will air from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET on Peacock, followed by coverage on USA Network from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET. GOLF Channel surrounds “Golf’s Longest Day” with 10 hours of live coverage on Monday June 6th with live coverage and coverage from US Open qualifier sites across the country. GOLF Channel reporters will be on site at various courses while the GOLF Channel Studio breaks down the results well into the evening. ONE OF MANY: WITHIN THE US OPEN 2022 – DEBUTING ON GOLF CHANNEL JUNE 7TH
Produced by GOLF Channel, in association with the USGA, From Many, One: INSIDE THE 2022 US OPEN chronicles the journey of a series of golfers as they prepare for the 2022 US Open at The Country Club, led by the 2021 US Open Champion Jon Rahm. The three-part documentary focuses on the openness of the championship, the courage and determination it takes to become a US Open champion, and triumph for the chosen few that will make up the field.
