The Golden State Warriors are the defending NBA champions, but they are currently fighting more than a month into the season. Recent rumors suggest the Warriors are interested in Indiana Pacers’ Myles Turner and San Antonio Spurs’ Jakob Poeltl.
Meanwhile, another former NBA All-Star could head to Taiwan. DeMarcus Cousins is the latest veteran to be linked with a move overseas after failing to receive offers during the offseason. Cousins played for the Milwaukee Bucks and Denver Nuggets last season.
Here’s the latest NBA rumor round-up for November 25, brought to you by Sportskeeda.
Jazz plans to keep Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markkanen
The Utah Jazz are the most surprising team of the season so far, with the most wins in a stacked Western Conference. Several NBA pundits have predicted that the Jazz will be one of the worst teams in the league this season, but they’re quite the opposite.
Despite their great start to the season, the Jazz could be active before the close. They still have players like Mike Conley, Malik Beasley, Lauri Markkanen, Jarred Vanderbilt, Kelly Olynyk and Jordan Clarkson all able to contribute to championship contenders.
According to Jake Fischer of Yahoo! Sport, the Jazz has no intention of trading Markkanen and Clarkson. Markkanen has a breakout campaign while Clarkson has thrived as a starter. Fischer noted that Conley, Beasley, Olynyk and Vanderbilt are commercial candidates.

Warriors are interested in Myles Turner and Jakob Poeltl
The Golden State Warriors could be looking to strengthen their roster as they continue to struggle this season. The Warriors have several key factors that might interest recovery teams. They have first-round picks and a handful of young players with potential.
Bleache Report’s Eric Pincus quoted NBA executives as saying the Warriors could be active by deadline. Officials noted that Golden State could be looking to add a defensive wing like Jae Crowder trying to get away from the Phoenix Suns.
The Warriors are also expected to add a big man to bolster their depth, with Myles Turner and Jakob Poeltl as potential targets. Turner’s contract is expiring while the San Antonio Spurs are potential sellers as of deadline. Both Turner and Poeltl are defensive bigs that could help Golden State’s 27th defense.
3 NBA teams are interested in Jae Crowder
Jae Crowder has no plans to play for the Phoenix Suns this season. Both sides try their best to find the right trade. The Suns are actively discussing a potential deal with several NBA teams.
At least three teams are currently interested in acquiring Crowder, according to Bleache Report’s Eric Pincus. They are the Milwaukee Bucks, the Atlanta Hawks and the Golden State Warriors. The Bucks are looking to solidify their roster for a championship run.
The Hawks do the same, given John Collins and Clint Capela’s odd fit at center. The Warriors look to improve their depth and defense, which brings Crowder to the table.

Former NBA All-Star headed to Taiwan
Dwight Howard’s move to Taiwan has opened doors for many NBA veterans looking for work. Howard signed with the Taoyuan Leopards a few weeks ago and recently made his debut. The Leopards are a team in the T1 League, one of two active professional leagues in Taiwan.
According to Taiwan News’ Duncan DeAeth, DeMarcus Cousins will be the next former NBA All-Star to join the T1 League. DeAeth noted that either the Tainan TSG Ghosthawks or the Kaohsiung Aquas will secure Cousins’ services.
Cousins is a four-time All-Star who most recently played for the Denver Nuggets. He’s been a journeyman since sustaining two serious injuries, a torn Achilles tendon in 2018 and a torn cruciate ligament in 2019. He’s also only 32 years old so has a lot to offer many teams.
Pistons is taking requests for Saddiq Bey
The Detroit Pistons are one of the worst teams in the NBA to start the season with just five wins. The Pistons are a young team led by Cade Cunningham, Jaden Ivey and Jalen Duren. But despite the potential of their roster, Detroit isn’t opposed to taking steps before the trade deadline.
Jake Fischer from Yahoo! Sports reports that the Pistons are doing early investigation into Saddiq Bey. The 23-year-old is in his third season and used to be an untouchable asset for Detroit.
However, Bey struggled to repeat his success from last season. He currently has 14.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists while shooting just 40.8% from the field and 29.0% from off the arc.
