Live stream Liverpool vs Real Madrid brings us the Champions League final on Saturday (28 May) – and that’s the really good news You can watch it for FREE in some countries.
Yes, the biggest game of the year (well, until the World Cup final) will be screened for free in the UK and Australia. And there are ways you can watch it without spending a penny elsewhere too, if you know how. Read on and we’ll explain.
This is a live stream of the Champions League final to really look forward to. Liverpool may have (nearly) missed out on the Premier League title, but they were arguably the best team in Europe this season. They have already won the Carabao and the FA Cup, won 10 out of 12 Champions League games to make it this stage and have scored 147 goals in all competitions so far.
Real Madrid looked pretty special too; They won the Spanish La Liga title (for the 35th time!) and the Spanish Super Cup and have scored 118 goals themselves.
However, they struggled to reach the Champions League final, with tough (and dramatic) victories over Paris Saint Germain, Chelsea and Man City in the knockout stages.
By contrast, Liverpool have had a relatively quiet journey, beating Inter Milan, Benfica and Villarreal – although the latter gave them a bit of a shock in the semi-final second leg.
Both sides are brimming with talent. Liverpool have a fantastic front three with Mo Salah, Sadio Mané and either Luis Diaz or Diogo Jota, a quality midfield led by Thiago and two of the world’s best attacking full-backs in Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson.
Madrid, meanwhile, have an old-young pair of Karim Benzema and Vinicius Jr up front, with Luka Modric and Toni Kroos pulling the strings in the middle and the rocking Thibaut Courtois in goal.
These teams have collected 19 Champions League trophies together and have previously met twice in the final. In 1981 Liverpool were the winners when the competition was still known as the European Cup, but it was Real Madrid who triumphed in 2017.
Will Jürgen Klopp’s men avenge this defeat and lift the trophy in Paris on Saturday? Find out by watching a live stream between Liverpool and Real Madrid.
