The news: Cardinals QB Kyler Murray was in full practice Thursday for Sunday’s game against the Chargers.

What it means in fantasy: Murray suffered the injury in Week 8 against the Vikings and aggravated it the following week against the Seahawks, missing Weeks 10 and 11. Back-to-back practice days bode well for Murray as he expects to face the Chargers. Averaging 19.4 fantasy points per game, Murray has had a season of ups and downs, but the bigger question is who will he have available to target. Rondale Moore missed Thursday’s practice with a groin injury, while Greg Dortch missed practice with a thumb injury. Fantasy managers who need a receiver should consider Donovan Peoples-Jones (listed in 41.4% of ESPN leagues) or Treylon Burks (35%).

The news: Patriots RB Damien Harris left Thursday night’s game against the Vikings with a hamstring injury.

What it means in fantasy: Harris was spotted on crutches in the Patriots locker room after the game. He had 16 rushing yards on five tries before the injury. New England doesn’t have much depth behind Rhamondre Stevenson so it would be a big deal if Harris missed the time. The Patriots play the Bills on Thursday of Week 13 and Stevenson is suspended for 20 touches or more if Harris is ruled out, making him a high-end RB1 for fantasy managers.

go deeper: Stevenson had nine consecutive games of 13 or more fantasy points, including five of 20 or more fantasy points. He had 16 or more touches in each of those games.

The news: Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers sustained a shoulder injury against the Vikings on Thursday.

What it means in fantasy: Meyers was injured in the first play. Meyers finished the game with just 16 offensive snaps and 16 routes run, despite returning just before halftime. Meyers was replaced by Nelson Agholor as the Patriots’ primary slot receiver for most of the game. Agholor would be someone to target on the waiver wire if Meyers misses the time. The Patriots rank 23rd with 325.9 yards per game and 19th with 21.7 points.

go deeper: Early in Thursday night’s game, Meyers led the Patriots in receptions (44), yards received (509) and touchdowns (3). In 10 games, no New England wideout had more than 17 receptions.

The news: Bengal’s WR Ja’Marr Chase was restricted in Thursday’s practice.

What it means in fantasy: Chase was supposed to return to training this week and that’s what happened. He has missed the past three games with a hip injury but no longer uses crutches. In the three games Chase played before the injury, he averaged 25.7 fantasy points. Early indications are that Chase will be active against the Titans on Sunday. While it’s difficult to rule him out of lineups, fantasy managers should be concerned about limited snaps and possible re-injury.

The news: Bengals RB Joe Mixon did not train on Wednesday or Thursday as he is dealing with a concussion last week.

What it means in fantasy: Mixon must clear the league log before Sunday to play in week 12. Samaje Perine more than filled the gap for the Bengals against the Steelers in Week 11, rushing for 30 yards on 11 tries and adding four receptions for 52 yards and three touchdowns. He only features in 22.9% of ESPN leagues. When Mixon can’t play, Perine can be considered a volume-based RB2 against a strong Titans defense that allowed the fourth lowest RB Fantasy points.

The news: Bears QB Justin Fields was restricted for Thursday’s practice with a shoulder injury.

What it means in fantasy: While Fields’ sentiment ahead of the Bears’ game against the Jets on Sunday is upbeat, fantasy executives should be cautiously optimistic after two consecutive limited practices. Fields’ throwing motion is hampered by the injury to his left shoulder, despite being right-handed. Fields has been reported to have been in extreme pain when passing or passing the ball in training and there are concerns about how he will fare if he takes shots. Whether he would wear a brace, harness or pad on his left shoulder is unclear. It would be wise to have a contingency plan in place in case Fields is ruled out. Jimmy Garoppolo (listed in 47.4% of ESPN leagues) is a great option for fantasy managers. , Garoppolo has scored at least 16 fantasy points in every game but one, including a season-high 25.4 fantasy points against the Cardinals on Monday night.

The news: Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert missed Thursday’s practice session with a knee injury.

What it means in fantasy: Mostert missed two consecutive training sessions after the Dolphins’ farewell week, which isn’t ideal. He may not be available for Sunday’s matchup against a Texans defense that allows running backs the most fantasy points. The majority of running back snaps and touches will likely go to Jeff Wilson Jr. if Mostert is unplayable. Wilson has scored 16 or more fantasy points in consecutive games.

The news: Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster has been in full training leading up to Sunday’s game against the Rams.

What it means in fantasy: Smith-Schuster is on his way to clearing the league’s concussion protocol. He left the Week 10 game against the Jaguars after a hard hit, went on concussion record and missed Week 11 against the Chargers. Smith-Schuster is a flexible option for an offense for the Chiefs, who ranks first in total yards per game and points scored on Sunday. Kadarius Toney is struggling again with a hamstring injury and Mecole Hardman is on injured reserve. On Sunday, Skyy Moore could be called on to step up after catching five of six targets for 63 yards last week.

The news: Ravens RB Gus Edwards trained fully Thursday and is firmly on track to return for Sunday’s game against the Panthers.

What it means in fantasy: The Ravens have the seventh most rushing attempts per game (30.4) with the Titans. With Edwards back to health, it’s difficult to decide who to prioritize in the Baltimore backfield, which also includes Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill. In his last two games, Edwards had double-digit rushing attempts and over 60 rushing yards. In deeper formats it is a flexible option. For fantasy managers who need running backs, Isiah Pacheco (listed in 55.3% of ESPN leagues) or Rachaad White (44.8%) are superior options. Demarcus Robinson did not train on Thursday due to a hip injury.

The news: NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that Lions WR Jameson Williams could be activated from injured reserve in Week 13 against the Jaguars.

What it means in fantasy: ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported earlier this week that Williams would return to training. As the team prepared for Thursday’s game against the Bills, Williams attended briefings and conducted rehab exercises at top speed. In keeper formats, Williams should be prioritized and is likely already hidden on IR, but his return to action means his managers will need to clear an active roster spot for him. Given the Lions’ abundance of receiving playmakers, the 12th overall pick by Lions Fantasy managers is unlikely to offer much value this year.

go deeper: In 2021, Williams caught 79 passes for 1,572 yards and 15 touchdowns for the Crimson Tide. As a first-team All-SEC selection, he led the SEC in receiving touchdowns.
