The highly anticipated Star Wars spin-off series Obi-Wan Kenobi is finally here and available to stream now on Disney Plus. Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen reprise their roles as Obi-Wan Kenobi and his former apprentice Anakin Skywalker (aka Darth Vader) as the Galactic Empire rises and Kenobi hides from his relentless henchmen. There are two episodes available to stream on Disney Plus right now. How to watch Obi-Wan Kenobi on TV online wherever you are.
Directed by director Deborah Chow (The Mandalorian), Obi-Wan Kenobi presents a self-contained story set 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, bridging the gap between the Star Wars prequel trilogy and George Lucas’ first Premiere of A New Hope closes.
The six-part limited series follows Obi-Wan, a broken man living in exile on Tatooine while guarding a certain Skywalker from afar. But Jedi continue to be targeted as traitors to the Empire, and Obi-Wan must avoid bounty hunters and a sinister group known as the Inquisitorius.
The latter are the central villains of the show. You’ll be played by Moses Ingram, Sung Kang and – worst of all – Rupert Friend, whose Grand Inquisitor character wields an evil, spinning double-bladed lightsaber. Sound familiar?
Promising another electrifying showdown between two of cinema’s greatest adversaries, this series should delight Star Wars junkies and newcomers alike. Read on below to learn how to watch Obi-Wan Kenobi online and exclusively on Disney Plus, including the best streaming deals available worldwide.
