FOX College Football unveils stacked 2022 schedule

LOS ANGELES – College football is upon us and FOX Sports has a huge range of games to offer for the upcoming season.

On Thursday, FOX Sports announced select games from the network’s 2022 college football program, including top games from the Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 and Mountain West conferences.

For the first time ever, “Big Noon Kickoff” will travel each week of the season, previewing the day’s best matchups from colleges across the country at 10:00 a.m. ET on FOX. Kickoff is followed by Big Noon Saturday, the network’s premier matchup each week and the most-watched college football window of the 2021 regular season across all networks.

Started the season strong

In Week 1, Penn State takes on Purdue on Thursday, September 1 at 8pm ET on FOX. The Big Noon Kickoff and Big Noon Saturday crews travel to West Lafayette, Indiana, where pre-game coverage begins at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Also of note is the September list: Texas hosts Alabama on Saturday, September 10 at 12:00 p.m. ET. On-site pre-game coverage begins at 10:00 am ET. It will be Alabama’s first appearance on FOX in the regular season and the first meeting between Steve Sarkisian and Nick Saban since Sarkisian left Alabama to lead the Longhorns.

Another big duel takes place in Week 3 on Saturday September 17 when Oklahoma travels to Lincoln to take on Nebraska. On-site pre-game coverage begins at 10:00 AM ET, with game start at 12:00 PM ET. Last year Nebraska scared Oklahoma at Norman on “Big Noon Saturday” in their first matchup since the 2010 Big 12 Championship Game. The game launches an unprecedented college football quadruple header on FOX, the first in broadcast history.

FOX Sports’ college football regular season wraps up Thanksgiving weekend with the hottest rivalry in sports — Ohio State vs. Michigan — Saturday, November 26 at 12 p.m. ET on FOX. “The Game” is part of a historic weekend of programming on FOX, which also includes the New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day, a 2022 FIFA World Cup group stage game between England and the USA, and a Pac-12 college football Match includes between UCLA and Cal on Friday November 25th and America’s Game of the Week on Sunday November 27th.

Championship weekend on FOX

FOX Sports is home to three conference championship competitions beginning with the Pac-12 Championship on Friday December 2nd and the Mountain West Championship on Saturday December 3rd, and the Big Ten Championship later that day.
