Fantasy Football Injury Updates
Jerry Jeudy (ankle) ‘moving in the right direction’ to play in Week 13
Jerry Jeudy is reportedly moving in the right direction to play on Sunday.
Jeudy has yet to pass the pregame test, so he’s a game decision. It’s difficult to trust him in lineups on his return, even when he’s active. Jeudy could be a desperate WR3 game when active.
Deebo Samuel (square) is likely a game-time decision for Week 13
Deebo Samuel will reportedly likely be a game-time decision for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins.
That shouldn’t come as a surprise given Friday’s 49ers practice, where Samuel was late. It puts fantasy managers in a difficult position since San Francisco is set in the afternoon. We’ll hopefully know late Saturday night or early Sunday morning if Samuel will play.
Elijah Mitchell (knee) put on IR
The 49ers put RB Elijah Mitchell on injured reserve.
This comes as no surprise as Mitchell is expected to miss six to eight weeks due to an MCL injury. Christian McCaffrey will keep the clear lead in the 49ers backfield. It’s not clear who will take on the role of No. 2 between Jordan Mason and Tyrion Davis-Price.
Ja’Marr Chase (hip) is expected to play in week 13
Bengals’ WR Ja’Marr Chase, who has missed the last four games with a hairline fracture of his hip and is listed as a possibility for Sunday, is expected to play against the Chiefs, according to Adam Schefter.
This was the expectation after Chase came close to playing in Week 12. There was no word on whether or not he will be restricted in any way, but it’s difficult for fantasy managers to put Chase either way given his advantages.
