Max Verstappen last won in Spain, his third consecutive win as he recouped his early DNFs this season to take the Drivers’ title race. He now leads Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc by six points after his rival suffered an engine failure en route to victory in Spain last week.
Leclerc is keen to turn things around again in the Principality, not least because it’s his home race. But don’t count on it: he hasn’t finished any of the three Monaco Grands Prix he’s competed in, in 2018, 2019 and 2021. He even crashed a vintage Ferrari once driven by Niki Lauda at a demonstration event earlier this month.
Verstappen, meanwhile, won the 2021 edition and will be buzzing after his Barcelona win. But the slow, winding circuit is expected to favor Ferrari and Mercedes more than Red Bull, which tends to fare better on high-speed circuits.
We’ll get a picture of how the teams are developing in practice one and two on Friday, with the all-important qualifying on Saturday.

If you are lucky enough to live in Austria or Luxembourg you can enjoy every second of the Monaco F1 Grand Prix live stream for FREE.

The Monaco F1 Grand Prix live stream will be broadcast on ESPN, with coverage split between the various ESPN channels over the course of the three days.

F1 TV Pro costs $10 per month or $80 for the season, which is a lot cheaper considering there are 22 races this year. You also get Formula 2, Formula 3 and Porsche Supercup races as well as the F1 archive of classic Grand Prix races.

How to watch the 2022 Monaco F1 Grand Prix live stream in the UK
As usual, Sky Sports F1 will be streaming the 2022 Monaco Grand Prix live and in up to 4K resolution, with the race itself starting at 2pm on Sunday (29 May).

How to watch 2022 Monaco F1 Grand Prix live stream in Canada
TSN has the live stream of the Monaco Grand Prix in Canada in English, while RDS will cover it in French. F1 TV Pro (opens in new tab) also remains an option for fans.
All sessions are broadcast on TSN, and if you receive the network through your cable or satellite provider, you can use TSN Go by signing in with your TV service credentials.
