Rossi is chatting with Sydney, Elias’ wife, when Elias is notified that someone is at her house. He calls her to check in to ask who it is and when he hears it’s David Rossi, he makes her paranoid and says he’s a dangerous man and he’ll be home soon to explain everything . But first, Elias visits the Seattle field office to speak with Rossi in person. He tells him that he has read all of his books and is a big fan. His favorite story is the one about the guy who dismembered corpses and dissolved them in acid. Strange, because the suspect Rossi is after does the same thing with dead bodies! Elias tells him he reads true crimes, he doesn’t live them.
Eventually, Rossi realizes that if he can get Sidney alone, maybe, just maybe, she’ll talk so they can make an arrest. Unfortunately, Elias is already in her head and after Rossi corners her at the grocery store and offers to take her to the field office himself, she rushes out and to Elias, who records the entire interaction. He posts it on an anti-government social media page, urging the Attorney General to give Prentiss an ultimatum: Fire Rossi or she’ll start dating him immediately.

Prentiss tries to get Rossi to Quantico, but it’s no use. He doesn’t answer the phone. Penelope sees that his phone is off and someone has been spying on his phone to trace it. When she hears a voice message in her used voice, she knows exactly who did it – Tyler Green.
Tyler’s time
Tyler is called to Quantico because they can’t reach Ramona. They need someone who can identify Elias on a chart so they can arrest him. Tyler lies to her and says none of the men are the suspects, but Penelope urges him to tell her. He lies to her face and repeats that neither of them is the suspect. Then he books a one-way ticket to Washington.
He tracks Rossi’s phone to Elias’ house, but loses the signal as soon as it turns off. Luckily he can follow behind in his car, which he does. Elias takes Rossi to the area where the first shipping container was found, intending to kill him. Tyler foils those plans by showing up demanding information about his sister, Alison. Elias can’t confirm that he killed her because he killed a lot of Alisons and ends up telling Tyler she dated like an asshole. This enrages Tyler and he shoots, but Elias aims squarely at Tyler’s chest and knocks him out. Tyler tries to shoot him one last time but misses.
Sydney is still in the dark
Meanwhile, Sydney lives in a motel and waits for Elias with her daughters. When he shows up, she asks if they are okay. He’ll let them know there’s one more thing left, and then they won’t bother them anymore. Elias had thrown Rossi into an underground bunker with a camera. Penelope gets a ping that he’s streaming live and everyone gathers. If they want Rossi alive, they must end their quest and never pursue him again. The screen cuts to Rossi screaming for help.
