This weekend a huge offline major is finally coming back to grace us in the form of Combo Breaker 2022, taking place as usual in Schaumburg, Chicago, Illinois, USA

As always, Combo Breaker is an absolutely gigantic event with a total of almost 3,000 participants and a multitude of games played.
Guilty Gear Strive is the leader with over 1,050 participants, followed by King of Fighters 15 with over 600 participants. After that we have Tekken 7 at over 550, Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition at almost 450, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate just under 400, BlazBlue: Central Fiction at over 260, and the classic Mystery Game Tournament at just over 250 right next to Melty Blood: Enter Lumina also over 250 while Dragon Ball FighterZ sits at 230 participants.
Granblue Fantasy Versus is over 190 players with Under Night In-Birth EXE: Late[cl-r] sit on the same level as the participants. Mortal Kombat 11 comes in at just over 150, while Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike and Skullgirls: 2nd Encore each have over 140 contestants. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Killer Instinct also have over 100 entries and while they didn’t quite reach the 100 player mark, there are also tournaments for Vampire Savior (Darkstalkers), Soul Calibur 6 and Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo, Them’s Fighting Herds, Nickelodeon All-Star Battle, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Justice League, Bloody Roar Extreme, and Brawlhalla.
