Later in the afternoon we expect more fireworks and drama in both the Big Ten and Big 12. Indiana, having faltered after three games, desperately needs to come home to a struggling Wisconsin team. Kansas State is looking to establish itself as a true contender for the Big 12 with a key road test against TCU. Then, of course, there’s Kansas, which welcomes Iowa State to an Allen Fieldhouse showdown with two unbeaten teams in the league.

Act, act, act.

Ahead of the action, our team put their heads together to make selections for each game that mattered, both direct and against the spread.

Odds on Caesars Sportsbook | All times Easter

Featured Game | Clemson Tigers vs. Duke Blue Devils

5 p.m. | ACC Network, fuboTV (try for free) — Jeremy Roach’s injury has crippled an already ailing Duke team, robbing them of some growth and momentum as the young core develops. And outside of Kyle Filipowski, Duke’s young five-stars were a bit of a hit and miss. But Dariq Whitehead is developing strongly, Filipowski is playing at a high level and Ryan Young (!) is making crucial minutes for a team that I think can come down this path upset. Roach isn’t expected to be out there, but Tyrese Proctor can get the job done. Choice: Duke +1 (Boone)

Kentucky at No. 5 Tennessee

Featured Game | Tennessee Volunteers vs. Kentucky Wildcats

12 p.m. | ESPN, fuboTV (try for free) — Every time it feels like Kentucky has hit a new low this season, it surprises by dropping another rung down the ladder and finding one New low. But a loss on the road wouldn’t qualify here. Tennessee is a heavy favorite and is expected to win by double digits behind its No. 1 defense. I expect it’ll be a little closer as Kentucky fights for its life, but the Vols at this point are right up the game. Forecast: UK +14 (Boone)

No. 18 Wisconsin in Indiana

Featured Game | Indiana Hoosiers vs. Wisconsin Badgers

1 p.m. ET | cbs,, CBS Sports App (For free) — Indiana is on a defensive funk as it grapples with injuries to veteran starters Xavier Johnson and Race Thompson. The Hoosiers have allowed three straight Big Ten opponents to surpass 80 points and lost all three games. Wisconsin is grappling with its own injury problem as top scorer Tyler Wahl rehabs an ankle injury. But the Badgers have enough firepower elsewhere on the roster to keep it tight and maybe even steal a win down the road. Choice: Wisconsin +4.5 (Cobb)

No. 11 Kansas State at No. 17 TCU

Featured Game | TCU Horned Frogs vs. Kansas State Wildcats

2 p.m. | ESPN2, fuboTV (try for free) — TCU has lost back-to-back in the heralded Big 12 by six points total, while K-State is 15-1 and gaining momentum as a legitimate contender. But I will take the opposite path of recent dynamics and take TCU here. The Horned Frogs are playing well despite recent stumbles behind Mike Miles Jr., Emanuel Miller and Damion Baugh. Choice: TCU -3.5 (Boone)

No. 14 Iowa State at No. 2 Kansas

Featured Game | Kansas Jayhawks vs Iowa State Cyclones

4 p.m. | ESPN+ — Kansas looked completely dead in the water at home twice this season before bouncing back and rolling to victories ahead of the loyal Jayhawks. They seem silly to play at home, but this season they’ve allowed teams to keep things tight in league play at home and this ISU team is equipped inside and out to buck that trend with coverage of the to keep the spread going. Choice: ISU +8 (Boone)
