Cryptocurrency prices have been in the red Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and other altcoins are down Tuesday morning. The hottest crypto right now was Santos FC Fan Token (SANTOS), a fan token of Brazilian football club Los Santos.
The crypto market cap fell about 2.67 percent to $919.31 billion, but its trading volume rose 65.74 percent to $55.07 billion, data from Coinmarketcap.com showed as of 8:30 a.m.
Today’s top gainer was TerraClassicUSD (USTC); it rose 40.61 percent to $0.04657. The biggest loser was Chiliz (CHZ), which traded at $0.1869, down 13.23 percent in the last 24 hours through Tuesday morning.

Bitcoin: BTC fell 2.05 percent to $19,064.66.
BTC traded in losses for most of October 10, with the price falling with each passing hour. At its bottom today, around 7:45 am on October 11, BTC broke below the $19,000 price level to around $18,980, but has since managed to bounce back from that price point and is trading above the $19,000 level.
Its lowest intraday trade price was $18,984.66 while its volume increased by 67.29 percent to $29,176,671,281.
Ether: Ethereum price fell 3.41 percent to $1,279.57 in the last 24 hours to Tuesday morning.
ETH also showed similar trading behavior to BTC, falling below the USD 1,300 mark and below. However, ETH appears to have fallen less than BTC and has remained confined to a narrow price range for trading. However, volatility remained high as suggested by the increase in trading volume.
The lowest price for ETH was $1,272.98. ETH trading volume increased by 66.69 percent to $9,690,064,955.
Other Altcoins: Solana (SOL) price fell 5.08 percent today to $31.45.
Ripple (XRP) fell 7.14 percent to $0.4939 and its 24-hour trading volume increased 38.48 percent to $2,535,202,776.
Cardano (ADA) fell 6.75 percent to $0.3954. Cardano 24-hour trading volume increased by 129.71 percent to $676,803,017.
Binance (BNB) is down 2.89 percent to $270.39. The 24-hour trading volume increased by 23.38 percent to $697,115,375.
