The Eagles will host seven home games at Alumni Stadium.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College Football and the Atlantic Coast Conference announced the team’s full 2023 schedule Monday night on the ACC Network, with the Eagles’ season scheduled to begin Saturday, Sept. 2, at home against Northern Illinois. BC will play seven of their 12 home games, including each of the first three.
Season tickets are available now at BCEagles.com or by calling 617-552-GoBC (4622). Kick-off times and TV selection will be made at a later date.
This season marks the first in the ACC without divisions as the conference adopts a new scheduling model. The new model is based on a 3-5-5 structure, with each team playing three main opponents annually and playing the other 10 league opponents twice during a four-year cycle from 2023 to 2026. Boston College’s three main opponents each year are Miami, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse.
After their season opener against NIU at Alumni Stadium, the Eagles host Holy Cross in week two (September 9). It marks the 84thth meeting between the two schools. BC is home for a third straight game when Florida State (September 16) visits for the ACC opening game.
Boston College heads to Louisville (September 23) in week four before finishing the first month of the season at home against Virginia (September 30). The Eagles then drop out of conference play to visit Army for their first game against the Black Knights since 2013 and their first visit to West Point since 2012.
After a bye week, BC is back on the road at Georgia Tech (October 21) and then returns home for their final non-conference match against Connecticut (October 28).
When the calendar moves to November, the Eagles will start the final third of the season with a Friday game in Syracuse (November 3). The game will be the 57thth match-up between BC and Orange and marks the 100thth Year of rivalry when the two sides first met in 1924.
Boston College then hosts Virginia Tech (Nov. 11) in Week 11, followed by a Thursday game in Pittsburgh (Nov. 16). The regular season concludes with a Friday contest against Miami (November 24) the day after Thanksgiving. The Eagles face the Hurricanes for the first time since 2018, a 27-14 BC win and a day after the 39thth Anniversary of Boston College’s Hail Mary victory over Miami at the Orange Bowl in 1984.
