The cryptocurrency market was trading lower on Saturday morning with Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL) in the red. Binance (BNB) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) however, traded with slight profits. Shiba Inu was also the trendiest crypto token today.
The global crypto market is down 0.22 percent to $978.31 billion as of 8:30 a.m. However, according to Coinmarketcap data, trading volume increased by 1.37 percent to $62.74 billion.
Trading volume in the decentralized finance coin space is about $5.08 billion, or 8.1 percent of the crypto market’s total 24-hour volume. The volume of all stablecoins is $57.04 billion, or about 90.92 percent of the total crypto market volume over the past 24 hours.
The top winner was Litecoin (LTC). It rose 8.05 percent to $61.29. The biggest loser was Helium (HNT), down 5.87 percent to $4.52.

Bitcoin: BTC fell 0.64 percent to $19,935.47.
BTC managed to break out of the red zone around 18:04 on September 2nd. In fact, BTC traded with profits for about 4 hours, but then around 10:39 the trend reversed and BTC fell below $20,000 and even further. BTC’s price fall from $20,300 to $19,800 was quite fast as it all happened within 59 minutes.
Its lowest intraday trade price was $19,814.77 while its volume fell 0.88 percent to $29,103,888,125.
Ether: Ethereum (ETH) price is down 0.52 percent to $1,567.79 in the past 24 hours to Saturday morning.
ETH’s trading was very volatile at best as the price frequently touched both green and red within hours, but sometime around 5:58 p.m. on September 2, ETH managed to cross over to $1,600 and trade with profits as well. But around 11:04 p.m. ETH price failed to hold and hence fell to its daily low. ETH is now trading just above the day’s lowest price level.
ETH’s lowest price today was $1,551.88. ETH trading volume increased by 13.18 percent to $17,682,297,219.
Other Altcoins: Solana (SOL) price fell 0.35 percent today to $31.08.
Ripple (XRP) is down 0.08 percent to $0.3296 and its 24-hour trading volume is up 11 percent to $919,225,686.
Cardano (ADA) is up 1.2 percent to $0.4595. Cardano 24-hour trading volume fell 3.5 percent to $542,347,918.
Binance (BNB) is up 0.24 percent to $276.75. The 24-hour trading volume fell 12.84 percent to $796,774,988.
