The new regional president brings extensive experience in health planning to the region.
OAKLAND, California., January 27, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Kaiser Permanente announced this Angela Dowling is the new Regional President of Kaiser Permanente in WashingtonEffective February 13, 2023. In this role, she will lead the organization’s focus on delivering integrated, quality health care and delivery in partnership with the Chief Medical Director of Washington Permanente Medical Group. Kaiser Permanente currently serves more than 660,000 members in Germany Washington.

Dowling joins Kaiser Permanente from Cambia Health Solutions, where she previously worked Oregon Plan President for Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, part of the Cambia Health Solution family of companies.

Dowling spent 10 years at Cambia Health Systems, initially as sales vice president before becoming vice president Oregon Plan President for Regence and also assumes responsibility as Chief Revenue Officer for Cambia. Previously, she was Chief Revenue Officer at Payne Financial Group and led sales teams at Cambia, UnitedHealthCare and etna.
Dowling was recognized as a 2014 winner of the Portland Business Journal Women of Influence Award. She currently serves on the boards of directors of Oregon Business & Industry, the Oregon Food Bank and the Oregon Healthcare Leadership Council. She is a graduate of University of Michigan.
