6ix9ine’s recent brutal hit at a Florida-based LA Fitness has inspired viral sensation Detroit DUST to share some tips on how to avoid the situation in the future.
On Friday (March 24), the self-defense instructor took to Instagram with a post titled, “LA Fitness + 6×9 = Self Defense | How NOT to get jumped!” In the clip, DUST reenacts 6ix9ine’s video by starting on the ground while two others simulate jumping him.
“That’s what you do if you want to survive at LA Fitness – or anywhere else – and you’re 6’9” or 69 years old or like me born in 1969. That’s how you survive,” says DUST.
His tactics include tripping the attacker with a leg hook and “kicking them repeatedly until they’re busted.” “These smart options will increase your survivability,” he concludes the video.
On Tuesday (March 21), the Brooklyn rapper (real name Daniel Hernandez) was attacked and severely beaten by a group of men in a sauna at an LA Fitness in South Florida before he could escape. His safety was not with him at the time and he was later hospitalized for his injuries.
Despite the attack being recorded by attackers, sources close to the rainbow-haired rapper have reported TMZ that he has no interest in changing gyms or increasing his security.
He reportedly said he would not allow a runaway to change his way of life – despite the men allegedly threatening him and telling him to leave South Florida – and said he would continue to go public as he had previously .
One of the “FEFE” rapper’s bodyguards has since called out the attackers, telling them to confront him directly rather than sneaking around to get to his client.
“First of all thanks for the free promo,” Bam-Bam, 6ix9ine’s bodyguard, captioned an Instagram blog post questioning his role. “I need it, but secondly, the whole town knows how I move. If one of my boys touches someone, they’re not gone. Not to mention all vixens like @6ix9ine just did it… the last person’s disrespect fell asleep in his own piss.”
He continued: “SO THESE GUYS IN THE VIDEO 3n4 scoring cameraman..4v1 you weak ass bitches against me..you win I’ll pay you $10,000 nif you lose you die..there won’t be any ref. .CLAIM IT GANGSTAS.”
6ix9ine has not yet publicly commented on the attack.
